Igloo and Wikiup Projects (12)
We've spent some time preparing several types of snowshelters around the nordic area. The igloo or the wikiup can make a great spot for lunch and both structures are educational "works in progress". -
Snow More Snow! (21)
These are SnowSchool pictures taken by Trail Wind teacher Jenine Nord during The Big Snow in late January of 2008. These kids are proof that fun and learning are not fair-weather dependent. -

SnowSchool Igloo (5)
Hey check out! We made an igloo! Thanks to Amy at the Benchmark, Peg was able to borrow an igloo block mold. Peg, Brent, Dan, Ashley, myself and a snowcat driver named Eric contributed seemingly endless shovels-of-snow to get this thing done. It's a wonderful spot to take your students if they like to walk. Bogus Basin employees Dave and Tracy Hopkins took these photos of the igloo before doing their best to fall asleep inside of it.-Kerry -
